“The University of Kentucky Oral History Program's "Veterans of the Vietnam War" contains over forty oral history interviews with Kentucky veterans of the war. These interviews document the veterans' lives before, during, and after the war, and include descriptions of living and combat conditions in various area of Vietnam, from the central highlands to the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) to the Mekong Delta. The veterans also reflect back on the consequences of the war and how it affected their lives individually afterward.”
