The 2020 award period has been suspended due to the Covid-19 pandemic.   Submissions can be submitted in the Spring of 2021

This year's award will present a $1,000 prize in two categories, traditional paper/scholarship and digital methodologies.  The winners will be recognized during the UK Libraries Spring Gala and other university programs. Each tab contains unique information that describes how to successfully complete the application process. The University of Kentucky Libraries established the UK Libraries Dean’s Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Scholarship in 2016, to recognize and celebrate exceptional, original scholarship and research by University of Kentucky undergraduates whose research projects make substantive and creative use of the UK Libraries’ collections, services, and resources.
