Alternative Textbooks (Open Educational Resources) Guide: Alternative Textbook Grant (2016)

This guide is about UK Libraries' Alternative Textbook Program. It also provides an overview of free online peer-reviewed textbooks and offers assistance with finding and adapting them for courses.

Alternative Textbook Grant Program (Academic Year 2016)

In Spring 2016, UK Libraries invited faculty to apply for a grant in support of the adoption of an alternative textbook, open course content, or UK Libraries' licensed resource(s) as a replacement to traditional commercial textbooks.  There were 20 outstanding proposals and the grant recipients were as follows:
