Scopus serves as a citation index to help determine the impact of articles and journals by highlighting which titles are most cited within a field.
How to get full-text
When searching for journal articles, you will notice the View Now button on many of your search results. Clicking on the View Now button will lead you to the article itself, links to the full text of the article, or it will let you know that we do not have full text of the article.
If the full text is not available, you can search InfoKat Discovery for a print copy of the article. If we do not have a print copy, you can request an interlibrary loan (ILL). For articles, these usually arrive pretty quickly.

Article Repositories
- ArXiv e-Print archive Electronic pre-print distribution service for the fields of physics, mathematics, computer science, quantitative biology, quantitative finance and statistics. Papers are provided by the authors on a voluntary basis. Users can also register to automatically receive a listing of newly submitted papers in areas of interest to them, when papers are received in those areas.

- Computer Research Repository (CoRR) CoRR allows researchers to search, browse and download papers through its online repository. CoRR is available to all members of of the community at no charge. Part of the arXiv e-print service.
- CiteSeerX CiteSeerx is an evolving scientific literature digital library and search engine that has focused primarily on the literature in computer and information science. CiteSeerx aims to improve the dissemination of scientific literature and to provide improvements in functionality, usability, availability, cost, comprehensiveness, efficiency, and timeliness in the access of scientific and scholarly knowledge.
Open Citation Sources

Use Google Scholar to find articles from a wide variety of academic publishers, professional societies, preprint repositories and universities, as well as scholarly articles available across the web. You can also access publications to which the UK Libraries subscribe.
