Arts organizations that are looking locally for employees and interns will, generally, announce the available positions on their websites, through local arts service organizations, in daily newspapers and on Craigslist. Those looking for work or internships in the Lexington area may want to consult the following organizations. (Those looking in other cities should search out similar resources in the local area.)

National Arts Service Organizations' websites

Arts organizations that are looking nationally for employees and interns will, generally, announce the available positions on the websites in the box at the right. ArtSEARCH, a database the library provides, requires a password, which is available at the Lucille Caudill Little Fine Arts Library service desk. The others are free websites. The Chronicle of Higher Education's job site can be searched by keyword or location or browsed by category.

Some information appears freely online, but researchers need to set up a personal account to access the full services of ARTSEARCH, such as jobs listings.
