Formatting References and Bibliographies

There are many styles and formats to use when creating a list of references or a bibliography.  Be sure to check with your instructor before selecting a style.  Some prefer MLA, while many engineering fields use formats created by their professional societies (e.g., Mining or Civil Engineering use SME or ASCE, respectively).  This page presents a variety of sources to help you with your writing.
