This guide is meant to serve as a brief introduction to selected basic resources dealing with all aspects of the study of the earth in terms of it's development, the history of lifeforms, the materials of which it is made and the processes that affect these materials.  Geological Science as defined by the American Geological Institute includes any of the subdisciplinary specialties that are part of the science of geology.  Most materials covering this subject matter are located in the Science Library.

Use this guide as a starting point to help you find books, articles, maps and more!  If you need additional help remember you can always ask a librarian.
