Introduction
This research guide is for students in History 112 studying the making of modern Kentucky. It concentrates on resources to help you identify two types of research materials: primary source materials and scholarly secondary resources on the topic you have chosen. This guide help you plan an efficient and effective research strategy, identify the primary and secondary resources available to you, and choose the best resources supporting your research hypothesis.
