Autism Resources for Parents: Databases

This pathfinder will share an annotated list of reference sources, indexes, databases, and other content to help users begin to conduct research on the topic of Autism Spectrum Disorder.

How to Navigate Through Library Databases

There are several library databases that offer relevant, authoritative and current information on Autism Spectrum Disorder, but I have chosen 2 library databases to demonstrate how to locate information across different platforms:

EbscoHost's PscyINFO & ProQuest's Social Science Premium Collection.

Additionally, Medline Plus offers high quality and authoritative information on diseases, drugs, clinical trials, and other consumer health topics. Medline Plus is available to all, unlike UK Library databases which are only available to UK students and employees.

Select from the "Database" drop-down menu above to read how to utilize each database.
