Sometimes stress can be relieved through nutritional snacks and drinks or comfort food. These three ideas have helped me through stressful times:
1) Smoothies- You can create any kind of smoothie by selecting your own fruit, vegetables, yogurt, milk or spices. Just select the ingredients you think will make a good combination or find a recipe online, put them in a blender, blend for 30 seconds and done! If you liked the taste, take note of the ingredients you used to remember for next time. Smoothies are also good quick breakfast & lunch ideas.
2) Chamomile or Herbal Teas- As you drink these caffeine-free teas, you will feel your muscles and mind begin to relax. The herbal teas are also good for clearing your sinuses during the cold and flu season.
3) Bake your favorite dessert or cook your favorite meal from your childhood- Good food always puts you in a better mood. Cook your favorite meal from your childhood, regardless if it serves 2 people or 6. If it's a big meal...leftovers for the rest of the week. If it's a baked dessert that's an old family recipe, reconnect with family while you're making it.

Unplug for 30 minutes to give your mind and your eyes a break from staring at a screen for so long. Set a timer on your phone for 30 minutes and answer it for emergencies only, but keep all other devices off! Here are some things you can do to relax that do not involve looking at a screen:
Try any of these for 30 minutes. When time is up, go back to working on the assignment. You will be surprised on how clear your mind will feel after this break.
