Kentucky Building Code

Effective January 2014, the Kentucky Building Code will be based on the 2012 International Code Council Building Code as amended in 2013 in the links below.

The design collection holds the full set of building codes for 2012 issued by the International Code Council. These are located in the Lucille C. Little Fine Arts Special Collections-  KFN 5035 .A24 2012.

LEED Materials

The United States Green Building Council developed the LEED system.  Per their website, "LEED provides building owners and operators a concise framework for identifying and implementing practical and measurable green building design, construction, operations and maintenance solutions."  Additional information on the LEED system can be found at the United States Green Building Council website.
