Where to Find the Resources

The majority of the print resources on Chinese geography can be found in the William T. Young Library. You can find books on Chinese geography shelved under GA1121-GA1124 and books on the physical geography of China shelved under GB316.

The maps and atlases can be found in the Science and Engineering Library in the reference area, general stacks and in the Maps area. There are a number of maps of China, but they are not available for browsing.  Please check the catalog for the specific map you would like, and it will be retrieved for you from the Maps area on the 4th floor of the Science and Engineering Library.  Collections of maps and atlases are shelved under GB2200-2444.84 (atlases of Asia) and G7400-8198l.54 (Maps of Asia).
