The term "lesbian news" has been used to define news about lesbians. The term has also been used as the title of publications, with one of the earliest being the 1975 publication by Jinx Beers in West Hills, CA. For this libguide, the term "lesbian news" will be used to identify lesbian journalists and broadcasters, and the titles of current newspapers, newsletters, magazines, and other periodical publications with the main focus on lesbians.
