Extension of Research

When researching a Nonprofit, the corresponding websites can be difficult to interpret. Financial information, mission statements, and activities are available on most organizational websites, but they can be hard to find. As a rule of thumb, always check the "About Us," and "Who We Are" sections. Within these tabs, you should be able to locate links to "Annual reports," 990s, and sometimes a list of "Main Supporters" or donors. If there is not a visible tab for this information, try the bottom of the website page. There may be a fine-print link.
