Guide to finding resources related to various management topics.

Corporate Governance

corp gov

"Corporate governance is the system of rules, practices and processes by which a company is directed and controlled," according to Investopedia. This governance generally takes the form of a board of directors who work with legal representatives, and they usually aim to balance the interests of financiers and shareholders with managers and employees.

Good corporate governance seeks to portray the company in a positive light through things such as environmental awareness, charitable giving, and a clear code of rules that prevent scandal, fraud, and other unethical activities.
