The International Trumpet Guild was formed in 1975 at the First ITG Conference in Bloomington, Indiana. The Guild's purpose is "to promote communication among trumpet players around the world and to improve theartistic level of performance, teaching, and literature associated with the trumpet." Much of the content on the website is only available to members, but does include information on:
