Bureau of Business Research/Business Administration records contain the departmental business files. This department was located in the College of Commerce. This college is now named the Gatton College of Business and Economics.

The Grahamton Manufacturing Company records (dated 1832-1917, undated; 27.89 Cubic feet, 8 record cartons and 9 transfer cases) primarily comprise daybooks, account books, and invoice books that document the business operations of the nineteenth century Meade County, Kentucky textile mill.

The Federation, organized in 1921, is part of a national organization for women in business and the professions to promote their common interests. The Kentucky group united five local chapters and encouraged the development of more chapters across the state.

The Louisville Federation of Labor minutes (dated 1903-1909, bulk 1907-1909; 0.1 cubic feet; 1 reel, 50 ft.) comprise microfilmed copies of two minute books kept by the Louisville Federation of Labor from March 9, 1903 to August 22, 1905 and from July 9, 1907 to April 27, 1909. The handwritten minutes include lists of committees with committee members and business discussed at Federation meetings, such as worker grievances and financial assistance to strikers.
