Should you want to get a bound copy of your thesis/dissertation, you can find a bindery that provides this service. Two such companies are Thesis On Demand and GradWorks. UK Libraries does not endorse either of these companies.
Final Acceptance and Publication
► When the Graduate School has determined that your work is accepted for publication, you will receive a system-generated notification.
► At that point your ETD has been locked and forwarded to UKLibraries for publication. Within 24 to 48 hours, the work will be published with a unique DOI and you will receive a notification that it has been posted.
♦ Recall that if your full-text is under embargo, the PDF option will not be publicly available. It WILL be available to YOU when you are logged in.
♦ Your DOI has been assigned, however it will still need to be registered. There may be a delay of up to 3 or 4 days before the DOI link will actually 'work'.
► It may take some time after publication (or full-text availability) to see much activity, but you should be able to locate your work with a google search. The best way for you to promote readership and build links to your work is to post links on social media platforms including Linked In.
► Unless you have opted out directly with ProQuest, or your full-text is under embargo, your ETD will become part of Dissertations and Theses Global within a few weeks and can be found here.
