This exhibit celebrated Window of Shanghai, a cultural exchange program begun by the Shanghai Library in 2002 to introduce Chinese culture to overseas readers. This is achieved by donating some of the latest Chinese publications to overseas libraries participating in the three-year program.
The books given by the Shanghai Library cover many topics, including Chinese medicine, language study for all ages, literature, history, culture, arts, and more! For more information, please see the Shanghai Library's Profile on the Window of Shanghai and FAQ on the Window of Shanghai .
