use interlibrary loan?
Interlibrary Loan (or ILL) is used when UK doesn't own or have access to a book, article, journal, or other resource. Our ILL department will look for other libraries to borrow it from and lend to you. Please note that this item does not belong to the University of Kentucky, we are simply borrowing it from another institution. That may mean we have little control over check out timeframe and due dates.
First you will go to UK Libraries webpage. From there, scroll down to RESOURCES find the Interlibrary Loan link.
From there, select the ILLIAD account link.
Sign in with your linkblue information. At the top of the page, you can select a New Request for articles, books, book chapters, conference papers, theses, or multimedia.
Complete as much of the information as possible for the item that you want. Hit "Submit Request" at the bottom of the page when you are done. You will be notified when your item is available for you.
