You can make an appointment with a librarian to get one-on-one help with your research paper or project as well as with finding the right children's book or YA novel, using the Butler Studio equipment to create classroom ready materials, accessing supplementary materials, using state standards, or writing lesson plans.

We are available to meet in person, by phone, or Zoom. Just stop by the Education Library or email us to schedule a meeting. We look forward to working with you!!

 

Lisa holds both MATESL and MSLIS degrees from UIUC and has worked as both an academic librarian (reference and instruction) and a classroom teacher for more than 15 years. She is certified in Kentucky to teach grades 5-12 English/Language Arts and K-12 ESL and K-12 library/media.

Jeretta holds an MLIS degree from UK and has worked in both public and academic libraries. She has over 10 years of experience with selecting children's and YA literature and early literacy. She also has a vast knowledge of our Butler Educational Studio makerspace materials and machines.
