The University of Kentucky Libraries consists of the William T. Young Library, the Special Collections Research Center (SCRC), the Education Library, the Science and Engineering Library, the Fine Arts Library, the Medical Center Library (MCL), and the Law Library.

How to use the library off campus

Spaces for Study and Collaboration

Thomas D. Clark Graduate Study
This is a space exclusively for graduate and professional students located on the fifth floor of William T. Young Library. To access the space, studiers will need to scan their Wildcard ID.
Doctoral Student Study Rooms
Located on the fifth floor of William T. Young Library, these six multi-person study rooms are available for use by doctoral students writing their dissertations. These rooms may be shared by a maximum of 12 people. Doctoral students assigned to a room will be given a key and assigned a locker in which to store items. Study room assignments span the academic year.

Breckinridge Research Room
The Breckinridge Research Room is a quiet study space for students, faculty, and community visitors to use special collections materials, or for general quiet study. It is located on the second floor of the Margaret I. King Library in the Special Collections Research Center. All users must create an SCRC research account and sign in at the desk to use the space.
