Foreign Company Information - Online Databases
- Business Source CompleteClick on the "More" link on the blue bar running across the top of the page. Then click on "Company Profiles." Find the company by typing the name into the search box or browsing for it by clicking on a letter. Many international companies are included.
- Nexis UniTo create a list of international companies that fit a certain criteria (ex. Beverage companies from France), click on the "Companies" tab on the left-- then click on "Dossier Create Company List" and set appropriate parameters. Lists can be sorted in several ways and can include differing pieces of information. To find information about specific companies, use the "Company Dossier" and "Company Profiles" links also found under the "Companies" tab.
- Kompass - International DirectoriesWorldwide company directory, organized by company name or product. Basic directory information on 1.6 million companies is free.
- Alibaba.comA global trade platform for importers and exporters.
- International Directory of Company HistoriesProvides histories of companies that are a leading influence in a particular industry or geographic location. St. James Press. With over 100 volumes since 1988.
- GlobalTrade.netConnects international business with information on sales agents, freight forwarders, sourcing services, market research, market entry, distributors customs brokers, trade compliance, accounting, and more.
