Oral history collections have sound recordings and video recordings. There are quite a few projects dedicated solely to lesbians. You will find that there are individual interviews in collections described as "gay" or as "LGBTQ." Lesbian oral histories date back to about the 1970s, and may or may not have accompanying transcripts. Below are the titles of a few collections and individual recordings with women who identify or identified as lesbian at the time of the interview.

Archives of Lesbian Oral Testimony

Founded in 2010. The Archives of Lesbian Oral History collects and makes available the oral histories of people who presently or at one time identified as lesbian. Includes oral history audio tapes, radio and television program tapes, as well as video and film produced by documentary filmmakers, and home video and film. Supported by and operates out of Simon Fraser University Library's department of Special Collections and Rare Books.
