Gwen Curtis Map Collection
UK Libraries houses the Gwen Curtis Map Collection which features over 250,000 maps and aerial imagery. Additionally, there is a small GIS Computer Lab that features four workstations that have ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator installed.
- The GIS Lab is open whenever the Science & Engineering Library is open. Up-to-date hours can be found here.
- Maps and aerial imagery cannot be checked out and are not viewable without assistance. To access any of the maps or imagery, please contact Sarah Watson.
- Examples of maps housed in the Collection can be found at Historical Maps of Kentucky and Examining UK's Campus.
