The Lucille Caudill Little Fine Arts Library has a large collection of acting editions of plays as well as books with monologues for all types of actors. Play scripts can be found on the second floor of the Little Library, under the "PR," "PS" and "PT" call numbers. Monologues can be found among call numbers beginning with PN 2080.

Books about theatre production are in the Lucille Caudill Little Fine Arts Library.  Many other books that are useful for theatre research are also located in the William T. Young Library, and some unpublished primary source materials, such as the John Arthur Dearinger Memorial Theatre Collection, which represents the work of over 1,100 mid-19th to mid-20th century actors, can be found in the King Special Collections Research Center. Books that are not in the UK Libraries can be requested through interlibrary loan (ILL).
