Kentucky State Action Plan for Federal Depository Library Services (1990): Approval, Review and Revision Procedures

V. Approval, Review and Revision Procedures for the Kentucky State Plan for Federal Depository Library Services

The Regional Depository Librarian shall assure that the State Plan is reviewed annually. When revisions are required, based on the annual review or at the request of any depository librarian, the Regional Depository Librarian shall appoint a committee to revise the State Plan. These revisions shall then be submitted to all depository librarians for their review and comment. These comments shall be forwarded to the chair of the revision committee for consideration by the committee for incorporation into the State Plan. A copy of the revised State Plan will then be sent to all depository librarians and depository library directors. The Regional Depository Librarian may update Section III or Appendix B of the State Plan without going through the revision process. A copy of the updated Section III or Appendix B will be sent to all depository librarians and depository library directors.

In order to meet the major goals of the Kentucky State Plan for Federal Depository Library Services, all depository librarians and depository library directors will be asked to sign an agreement indicating their willingness to support the State Plan (see Appendix C). A copy of the signed agreement shall be returned to the Regional Depository Librarian who shall forward all the agreements and a copy of the revised State Plan to the Superintendent of Documents at the Government Printing Office.
