Account Guide for SCRC: Doing Research: Non-UK Users

Use this guide to learn how to activate your SCRC Research Account, schedule an appointment, request special collections materials for use in the Breckinridge Research Room, and order digital scans of special collections materials.

How Do I Create a Research Services Account as a non-UK User?

STEP 1: ACCOUNT LOGIN

First, navigate to https://requests-libraries.uky.edu/.
Then, click the "Login or Register" button under "Non-UK Users" to get started.

STEP 2: FIRST TIME USER?

Click "First Time User? Create an Account".

STEP 3: READ AND ACCEPT REGISTRATION AND USER AGREEMENT

A first time user registration terms and conditions page will appear. This page contains information on your Research Services Account, requesting materials, using the Breckinridge Research Room, and copyright notices.

STEP 4: COMPLETE AND SUBMIT CONTACT INFORMATION

Fill in your contact information and click "Submit Information" to complete your registration.

That's it! You should see the main menu for your Research Services Account, where you can request items for use in the Breckinridge Research Room, order digital scans of special collections materials, and manage all of your SCRC requests.
