UK Collections
- InfoKat Discovery Library Catalog Advanced Search Search the full InfoKat Discovery Library Catalog combining terms in different fields (e.g., title, subject, date, language).
- E-Journals A-Z Title-by-title database of the journals available full-text in electronic form through University of Kentucky Libraries' subscriptions. The primary purpose of the E-Journals Database is to give you access to specific, known journal titles you are seeking. (Search for JOURNAL here, not ARTICLE.)

- PubMed (University of Kentucky)Provides abstracts to articles in medicine, healthcare, life sciences.

- Analytical WebBase (incorporating Analytical Abstracts) Analytical Abstracts keeps you up to date with the most recent developments across analytical science. Covering a wide range of sources from 1980 to the present day, you can search literature records in Analytical Abstracts for specific analytes, matrices or techniques, tailor your reading to your subject area of choice or simply browse recently added articles.
- BIOSIS Citation Index BIOSIS Citation Index combines the carefully indexed life science coverage found in BIOSIS Previews (Biological Abstracts, Reports, Reviews, and Meetings) with the power of cited reference searching. To access this resource, select it from the drop down menu at the top of the search box.
- PubChem PubChem is an open chemistry database at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Open means that you can put your scientific data in PubChem and that others may use it. Since the launch in 2004, PubChem has become a key chemical information resource for scientists, students, and the general public.
- ProQuest SciTech Premium Collection This link opens in a new window Indexing and abstracting of science and technology research, including full-text journals and detailed indexing of global literature on natural sciences, engineering and technology. Areas covered include materials science, aerospace engineering, civil engineering, biology, aquatic sciences, environmental science, computer science and earth sciences.
- Scopus Scopus is an abstracting and citation database of peer-reviewed literature that contains over 22,000 titles from more than 5,000 publishers around the world, covering the fields of science, technology, medicine, social sciences, and arts & humanities. Scopus is a citation index which helps in determining the impact of articles and journals by highlighting which titles are most cited within a field.
Journal Publisher Sites
- American Institute of Physics Journals Includes full-text access to journals for which we have a current print subscription (28 titles). AIP Journals are part of Scitation, online home to more than 100 journals from AIP, APS, ASME, SPIE, and other science and engineering societies. AIP Journals offers access to the SPIN (Searchable Physics Information Notices) Database, a database of physical science resources (1975 - ) covering physics, astronomy, and related fields of science and technology.
- American Society of Brewing Chemists (ASBC) Methods of Analysis ASBC Methods of Analysis was created to improve and bring uniformity to the brewing industry on a technical level.
- Annual Reviews Annual Reviews is a nonprofit publisher dedicated to synthesizing and integrating knowledge for the progress of science and the benefit of society.
- Springer Nature Link (formerly SpringerLink) Access to the full-text of journals published by Springer and other publishers. Divided according to field into the Online Libraries of life sciences, chemical sciences, geosciences, computer science, mathematics, medicine, physics and astronomy, engineering, environmental sciences, and economics.
- Wiley Online Library Multidisciplinary collection of online resources covering life, health and physical sciences, social sciences, and the humanities. Provides access to over 4 million articles from 1,500 journals, over 15,000 online books, and hundreds of reference works, laboratory protocols and databases. UK Libraries subscribes to selected resources from this large collection.
